Wine boasts are not unfounded

08/05/2022

Now we know many regions of Australia boast of their wine industries, but the NSW Riverina really does have something to boast about.

25% of all Australian table wines are produced in the region. The region’s 300 grape growers have 22,000 hectares of wine grapes on trellises sufficient in total length to circle the Australian continent three times. Each year the region produces 12.5 million cases of bottled wine. (Thanks to Griffith Tourism for these statistics.)

If your clients are wine lovers, isn’t it about time you suggested they form a group to visit the Riverina, where there is so much wine action?
